Description:
The UM Golf Course is groomed by Missoula Nordic Ski Club through a use agreement with the University of Montana. This site features 5km (3 mi) of relatively flat skate and classic XC trails, as snow conditions permit.
DOGS ONLY ALLOWED ON WEST LOOP - DOG OWNERS ACCESS VIA DORNBLASER FIELD PARKING ONLY though anyone welcome at this access point! All dog waste must be disposed of.
Additional parking is available at the Iron Griz in the second and third parking areas and further out towards South Ave. Leave the first several rows for Iron Griz Patrons and UM events!
Please do not walk or snowshoe on groomed ski trails.
Dogs:
Well-behaved dogs are not permitted on the east loop of the groomed trails. Please pick up after your dog!
Cost:
Free. Your membership in Missoula Nordic Ski Club supports grooming at the UM Golf Course. Volunteer-run MNSC spends $60,000+ annually on grooming and skier services in the Missoula area- half of that comes from memberships and donations.
